About the Role The Data Lead Analyst is responsible for leading the strategic direction and operational management of the organization's data, analytics, and innovation functions. This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making, fostering a culture of innovation, and leveraging advanced analytics to enhance business performance and growth. This role will align with Commercial Business leaders, their objectives, and growth strategies of the region. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership and Domain Expertise in Commercial Ops / Supply Chain Ops Develop and execute the data engineering and support analytics strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives. Champion the use of data and analytics across the organization to drive business insights and innovation. Data Management and Governance : Oversee the management, governance, and quality of data across the organization. Implement data governance policies, standards, and practices to ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance. Analytics and Business Intelligence : Lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions to solve complex business problems. Support Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Supply Chain, and Finance teams with the right data capabilities for decision making backed by Cloud. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on data analysis and predictive modeling. Innovation and Digital Transformation : Foster a culture of innovation by identifying and implementing modern technologies and methodologies. Drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and business performance. Team Leadership and Development : Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and innovation engineers based out of ANI Dev Center. Promote continuous learning and professional development within the team. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data and analytics needs and opportunities. Act as a liaison between the data and analytics team and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of data initiatives. Performance Monitoring and Reporting : Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and effectiveness of data and innovation initiatives. Communicate findings, progress, and results to stakeholders and senior leadership. Resource Management : Manage the budget and resources for the data, analytics, and innovation functions. Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources to achieve strategic objectives. Requirements Bachelor’s / master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and innovation roles, with a proven track record of leadership. Prior experience in managing Commercial or Supply Chain applications. Knowledge about Veeva, Salesforce, ERP, and Supply Chain applications will be a plus. Strong knowledge of data management, analytics tools, and technologies. Experience with big data platforms, machine learning, and AI applications. Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and analytics platforms (e.g., Azure, Spark, Python). Proven ability to drive change and foster a culture of innovation within an organization. Strong business acumen and the ability to translate data insights into business strategies. Working Conditions This role may require occasional travel to attend meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
