Job Description With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu's only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women's center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state's first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician. Through clinical trials, the newest, most promising medications, medical devices, and treatment protocols are made available to patients. The Clinical Trials team at Hawai'i Pacific Health Research Institute (HPHRI) supports clinical trials within the Hawai'i Pacific Health network of hospitals to expand our knowledge and better provide top quality medical care to Hawai'i's populations. We participate in more than 200 clinical trials a year, working with more than 70 principal investigators who are overseen by our highly trained professional staff of care providers and research managers. If you have excellent patient care skills and an interest in contributing to groundbreaking clinical research, you could be an ideal candidate for our Clinical Research Coordinator position. In this role, you will perform nursing functions and coordinates all aspects related to implementation of research protocols or clinical trials with an emphasis on patient relations. We are looking for someone with an understanding of clinical research protocol, the ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and a commitment to helping our organization deliver the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people. Current Hawai'i Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provide Basic Life Support (BLS). Two (2) years acute care or related experience. Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year clinical research experience.
