DescriptionGreen Gold Group is looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual to join our growing team as a full-time Budtender (Sales associate) in our Charlton location. The Budtender (Sales Associate) is the primary contact between Green Gold Group's customers and the company. They are responsible for educating customers on Green Gold Group's products and providing an excellent customer service experience. A top requirement of this position will be the ability to communicate effectively and have a good understanding of how to meet the customers' needs. Budtenders will be responsible for using Green Gold Group's point of sale system and must practice and be compliant with state regulations and with Green Gold Group's standard operating procedures and protocol. Successful candidates will have the ability to promote and maintain a positive work environment that is grounded in customer service and company growth.Tasks and Responsibilities:Provide a high-end customer service experience with a focus centered on customer engagement and education.Must always have a can-do attitude with a strong work ethic focused on Green Gold Group's long-term mission.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the legal cannabis industry from a medical and adult use standpoint.Ensure proper, accurate record keeping with Green Gold Group's tracking software and the State's online database.Must have awareness of current product availability with an ability to describe the production process behind every one of Green Gold Group's products.Maintain strict confidentiality while handling and managing customer information.Assists with the presentation of a well-stocked store front that is clean, safe and secure ensuring a positive retail experience.Accurately execute sales transactions via the point-of-sale system in an efficient manner.Maintain a current understanding of trends and research in the cannabis industry and have the ability to help customers with up-to-date information and knowledge base.Approach each customer interaction with a positive attitude, a welcoming tone of voice and effective communication skills that helps validate the customers concerns and needs.Must be sensitive and empathetic to the needs of every customer.Completes any other duties assigned by management in a professional and timely manner.RequirementsQualifications: Must be 21 years of age or older Night and weekend availability mandatory for consideration Maintain ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business Ability to qualify for MA MTC/ME agent licensure Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation Knowledge of local and state laws and regulations pertaining to medical and/or adult-use cannabis products High School Diploma or GEC equivalent requiredExperience with point-of-sale systems and cash management with a focus on register accountabilityDeep understanding and passion for cannabis, cannabis accessories and the cannabis industryStrong attention to detailExcellent communication and customer service skillsProfessional, amicable demeanorDependable and hardworking attitudeMust have flexible availability with the willingness to work nights, holidays, and weekendsPhysical Requirements:Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of dispensaryAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to twist, stoop, reach, stretch, walk, carry boxes and perform repetitive motionsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
