Overview
We are urgently seeking two organized and detail-oriented Clerical Admins to join our team in the service department. The ideal candidates will be proactive and efficient, capable of handling multiple tasks and ensuring smooth operations within the department. This role offers the potential for permanent placement based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Department Support:
- Answer and manage service calls promptly.
- Dispatch service technicians and track the status of service calls.
- Follow up on the progress of service calls, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to customer satisfaction.
- Purchasing Department Collaboration:
- Work closely with the purchasing team to create, send, and manage proposals and orders.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and processed in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Experience and Skills:
- Prior experience in a clerical or administrative role.
- Familiarity with service call management and dispatching.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in NetSuite is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to our proprietary service management system.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
Work Environment
- Location: This position is based in Astoria, Queens and requires 100% onsite presence.
- Hours: The work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
