The Director of Advancement plays an important role as a member of the senior leadership team, they ensure the development and success of HTCCS by instilling a culture of philanthropy, coordinating fund development, contributing to strategic planning, and addressing development opportunities or challenges within the school and community. The Director of Advancement will report directly to the headmaster and will work with the senior management team, advancement committee and Board of Trustees to define a fundraising strategy that will ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the school. The Director of Advancement will be responsible for planning and implementing strategies to secure donors and contributions, monitor development activities and address issues that may hamper organizational growth and success. The ideal candidate must be motivated, have the ability to solve complex problems, and have a passion for the Holy Trinity mission to cultivate joyful, virtuous, and wise citizens whose lives are built upon the bedrock of faith in Christ, taking His Gospel to the ends of the earth. Essential Functions: Develops and implements the Annual Campaign fundraising plan that includes major gifts, corporate giving, planned giving, and special events. The Director of Advancement must work closely with the Headmaster and the Advancement Committee to develop fundraising goals and strategies that align with the HT mission and values. Work closely with the Director of Communications on all collaterals and written materials. Manage and lead the Advancement staff providing guidance, training, and support as needed. This includes setting goals and expectations for individual team members, monitoring performance, and providing feedback to ensure that fundraising goals are met or exceeded. The Director of Advancement is responsible for identifying key performance metrics, monitoring, and analyzing fundraising data to evaluate performance and adjust strategies as needed. This involves tracking donor engagement and retention rates, analyzing revenue streams, and making data-driven decisions that help the organization achieve its fundraising goals. Ensure data health by ensuring timely documentation of activities, notes, updating constituent data, gifts and supporting documentation in Raiser’s Edge. Produce monthly reports and analytics to be presented monthly to the Board of Trustees. Maintain and grow existing donor funds through relationship management. Cultivate and acquire new donor funds by contacting donors and prospects personally through phone calls, face-to-face, and group presentations. Provides leadership to the Advancement Committee. Meets on a designated basis (weekly or bi-monthly) with Advancement Committee Chair to update them on advancement functions. Other duties as assigned. Education and Related Work Experience:

This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university (MA a plus). Demonstrated excellence in organizational, managerial, and communication skills is essential. Preferred Requirements:

Experience serving in a nonprofit or fundraising environment, experience with Raiser’s Edge. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent computer skills, proficient with MS Office applications and CRMs (Raiser’s Edge a plus). Proficient with social media platforms. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Experience interpreting data for informed decision making. Demonstrated ability to work strategically and collaboratively with members of staff, committee members, stakeholders, and volunteers. Commitment to be present for special events on evenings and weekends when necessary. Demonstrated commitment to the mission of HTCCS and accept and uphold HTCCS Statement of Faith.
