Production Operator Night Shift We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join the extrusion pipe department in Salt Lake City. This entry-level position involves utilizing standard tools and measuring devices to ensure the final product meets customer specifications. Responsibilities include utilizing standard tools and measuring devices to ensure the final product meets customer specifications, identifying and addressing any basic abnormalities in the product, performing lifting of products, ensuring the final product is wrapped neatly around the reel while maintaining quality checks, working in a manufacturing environment, and performing light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working space. Essential skills include manufacturing and production experience, basic machine operating skills, mechanical assembly and aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, a minimum of one year of recent manufacturing experience, and a consistent work history within manufacturing/production. Eagerness to learn and adapt is also required. The work environment is in a clean, mostly climate-controlled manufacturing facility, with a team-oriented environment and a non-climate controlled section. The role involves working a 12-hour shift with alternating schedules of 48 hours one week and 36 hours the next, following a 2-2-3 schedule. The candidate must be able to submit to a pre-employment drug and background check. This is a contract to hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT, with a pay range of $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
