The Clinical Specialist is responsible for leading any of the workshops offered at Onsite, as well as occasionally an individual, couple or family intensives; works directly with the clinical team at Onsite to serve the needs of the participants and the marketplace. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation. Facilitate therapy groups, individual sessions, couples or family sessions and intensives and program activities with clients. Main function is to facilitate at least two (workshops or intensives) per month. This includes the possibility of online group and intensive facilitation. Lecture and supervise for workshops as needed. Support Milestones with weekend clinical support and groups as needed up to two times per month.Work with admissions to support clinical approval of clients for workshops and intensives. Assist with assigning participants to groups and intensives when needed. Must be able to work over the weekend when supporting the group and intensive programs due to the start and end dates of programs/workshops. Knowledge of and adherence to Company policies and procedures, as well as applicable federal / state / local laws and regulations. Maintain complete confidentiality in all client/program matters, in accordance with Onsite policyRegular and reliable attendancePerform other duties as assigned RequirementsCOORDINATOR/SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinates the work of others or implementation of processes.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.Education and/or Experience:Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field; Licensure in the State of Tennessee or ability to obtain TN licensure within one year of hire; Two years of intensives experience; Experience leading intensives; Expertise treating trauma; Knowledge and experience of Experiential and Psychodrama therapeutic modalities Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percentages.Language Skills: Ability to understand, read, write and speak English. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, safety data sheets (SDS) or governmental regulations. Ability to successfully write reports, business correspondence and policy. Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions and professionally interact with managers, employees, clients, vendors and the general public.Reasoning Ability: HIGH. Must be able to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and initiate appropriate course of action. Must effectively convey ideas, images and goals to a diverse group of personalities.Other Qualifications: General knowledge of computer applications for the frequent use of electronic mail, word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, graphics, etc. Must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Must be detail oriented and organized with the ability to perform duties under pressure, prioritize workload, and meet timely deadlines. Must have the aptitude and ability to self-direct work. The employee must work as part of a team, complete assignments independently and take instructions from supervisors.Employees must be free from dependency on illegal drugs or alcohol. Limited overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
