This customer service role assists external and internal customers in all ways they come to the Bank in all local locations as needed during scheduled shifts. This position could work a drawer in the lobby/drive-thru, open deposit accounts/products, answer phones/emails/chats, or assist with other deposit service functions. They will refer the customer to the right Heritage Bank employee to assist them when applicable. Primary Duties & Responsibilities (90%): Assist business customers and employees of business customers who present themselves to Heritage Bank, whether in the lobby, drive-up, phone, chat, fax, email, IM, or online applications to provide accurate assistance. (10%) Accurately process all cash or check transactions, including deposits/withdrawals, transfers to/from accounts, loan payments or advances. (10%) Open, close, cross-sell and maintain all deposit products including personal/business accounts, IRA and HSA products to accurately and efficiently help customers with all their account needs. (10%) Process retail loan applications, perform closings and maintain their own consumer loan portfolio. (10%) Balances cash accounts to General Ledger, including individual cash drawers, TCR, ATM and cash vaults. May assist with drawer audits as requested. (10%) Process digital banking products and services, wire transfers, ACH, and fraud monitoring as needed. (10%) Create and maintain various operational procedures, processes, forms, and reports. Train bank staff on deposit related programs, processes, and forms as well as train external customers on cash management services. (10%) Back up Customer Care, Teller, and Deposit Services Teams and other tasks as assigned. (10%) Recommend products and services as appropriate to all customers. (10%) Education & Experience
