Overview: Insight Global is seeking a Bridge Engineering Project Manager to supervise transportation projects for one of our largest Engineering Consulting companies in the US. These projects will involve preliminary engineering and PS&E. You will offer technical support, staff development, contract management, and client management for statewide and regional clients. Day to Day: Review project proposals to determine scope, time frame, and staffing requirements. Provide technical guidance to less experienced personnel. Prepare scope of work and cost estimates for proposals. Manage staff utilization and assignments. Present in both oral and written formats. Provide quality control and assurance for bridge projects. Perform technical analyses and calculations. Occasional to moderate travel may be required. Background in business development and proposal writing preferred o Client management. Involved in proposals & Interviews, etc. Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Engineering Management. California P. E. license required. Minimum 8 years of experience in bridge and transportation engineering, o At least 3 years managing bridge-related projects. Familiarity with Caltrans (California DOT) standards and procedures. Proficiency with bridge analysis and design software (MicroStation) Ability to lead and interact with multi-disciplined teams. Must be in the Santa Ana, CA office 2 days per week (Tuesday & Wednesday)
