*Respiratory Therapist Lafayette, LA* *Ochsner Health | Full-Time* _*$20,000 Sign-on Bonus Available*_ _*Relocation Assistance Available for Qualified Candidates*_ Join Ochsner Health in _Lafayette-_ Were seeking a *Respiratory Therapist* to provide high-quality respiratory care for patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric in our _Lafayette_ region. *About the Role:* The *Respiratory Therapist* delivers treatments, oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support for both inpatients and outpatients. Responsibilities include monitoring oxygen and ventilation, performing arterial blood gas tests, assisting with airway management, and educating patients and staff. Youll work closely with physicians and team members to ensure the best patient outcomes in our _New Orleans_ facilities. *Requirements:* * Associates Degree required * Current Louisiana License as a *Respiratory Therapist* * Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (CRT or RRT) * BLS certification * Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification (only for trained therapists working in the NICU) * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire * Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire *Why Ochsner Health Lafayette:* At Ochsner, our *Respiratory Therapists* are vital members of the care team.
