Secure school district facilities and grounds for the purpose of minimizing property damage, equipment loss, and potential liability to the school district. Service job-related machinery/equipment (e.g., adjusting, cleaning, and oiling vacuum cleaners, scrubbers, buffers, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining equipment in good working condition. Also change brushes, pads, rollers, etc. on equipment. Adhere to guidelines of confidentiality as outlined in federal and state laws and School Board policies and procedures. Complete work orders as assigned and track appropriate data. Perform other duties as assigned. Be knowledgeable of and adhere to applicable laws and guidelines, including but not limited to, the Illinois School Code, State Board of Education rules and regulations, School Board policies and procedures, all federal and state laws and rules as they relate to building maintenance and cleanliness, and contractual obligations, where applicable.
