They will handle diverse design engineering tasks of moderate complexity, focusing on medium sub-systems design projects under guidance from the manager. Responsibilities include researching, designing, developing, testing, and installing various complex apparatus, components, equipment, and machinery. Additionally, they will design, construct, and operate complex machinery and equipment while collaborating with other engineers, service, and sourcing personnel to ensure optimal equipment utilization.What You'll Do: Take projects from the analysis of the client's needs through project specification, concept, design, test and installation.Responsible for medium sub-system design projects working through verbal or written communication from the Engineering Manager.Develop the appropriate documentation (BOM'S, ECN's and REA's) to support engineering in the development, design or modification of products as required.Develop and monitor the project budget and schedule utilizing design skills and project management expertise.Travel as required to evaluate projects, install and troubleshoot engineering modifications, and offer assistance to other departments (up to 10%).Manage medium design projects with support of Mechanical Engineer I, II's, and shop personnel.What You Won't Do: Suffer from boredom - you will always be doing something different and coming up with innovative ideas and solutionsSit behind a desk - you'll partner closely with team members and supervisors on our shop floors as well as our facilities around the worldWho You Are: A creative thinker who can multi-task and enjoy solving problems and implementing solutions.Someone with the ability to research, design, develop, test and install a wide variety of complex apparatus, components, equipment and machinery.
