The Company

The Role

Due to the sensitive nature of the work, you’ll have to be fully eligible for SC clearance and have UK citizenship only to be considered.

Join the team in a purpose-built research centre with satellite cleanrooms and end-to-end satellite servicing infrastructure, from creating and testing, to payload development, licensing, and launch.

Jump straight into solving technical requirements across the board, from Mission and System Level to Subsystem and Equipment Level. You’ll design, build, and test electronic systems from requirements to launch and in-orbit operations.

Along with ECAD design and schematic production, you’ll help the Electronics Lead maintain consistent and concise documentation like SoW, Interface Control, and Test plans.

Not only will your expertise develop significantly in such a demanding sector, but you’ll also mentor junior team members in growing their skills, offering a natural lift towards future management responsibility.

What You Need

Full, unrestricted eligibility for SC Clearance (UK Citizenship only). A 2:1 or above in a STEM degree. 2+ years experience with electronics engineering, preferably in the defence and space sector. Ability to work fully in-office in Hampshire.

Proven Examples Of

Technical delivery, especially if on a satellite programme. Use of tools such as Altium, OrCAD, or PSpice. Documentation, preferably for space projects. Testing and test automation, firmware development, and FPGA/VHDL. EEE component selection best practice. Working to space standards. Mentoring junior team members.
