Job/Position Summary

Responsibilities:

Powertrain Embedded Engineer will be responsible for working with team of engineers responsible for configuring AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) oriented to the implementation of high-quality, safe, and efficient production-level software. Also responsible for migration of legacy software to AUTOSAR standard software.

  • Responsible for developing a plan working with the customer directly for Proof of Concept project.
  • The goal of the plan is to achieve AUTOSAR compliance with the minimal amount of work, based on the high level AUTOSAR migration strategy established by the customer.
  • Use ETAS tools to configure ETAS AUTOSAR OS, RTE and BSW and develop some of the software components and configure MCAL in EB Tresos.
  • Develop Complex Device Drivers.
  • Configure Basic Software (BSW) and generate BSW and RTE.
  • Perform Unit testing and functional testing using bench and HIL.
  • Issue debugging using Lauterbach debugger.
  • Understand hardware documents and probe ECU pins.
  • Main interface to the customer for all software related activities for the project.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering / Software. Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent Other experience/knowledge.
  • Experience in AUTOSAR SWC migration/development.
  • Experience in using ETAS AUTOSAR configuration tools (3 years preferred).
  • Hands on experience in MCAL driver configuration for IO drivers (ADC, MCU, PORT, DIO, ICU, PWM, SPI) using EB Tresos.
  • Experience in automotive embedded software development experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of configuration management tool.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Experience in using disciplined software development process.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Organizational, project management and leadership skills.
  • Familiar with Agile Methodology.
