Network Engineer Serve as a Network engineer supporting a government customer. Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in: Level design, implementation, and management of NAC solutions Utilization of CISCO network devices including load balancers LINUX servers, and CISCO appliances Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot NAC policies and profiles. Monitor network traffic for, and proactively address potential security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ensure network security standards align with business objectives. Translate customer requirements into enterprise network solutions. Qualifications: Active TS/SCI with a Full-Scope Polygraph BS in Computer Science or related 16+ years of experience and specialized focus on: Network Access Control (NAC) Particularly with significant expertise in CISCO network appliances Deep understanding of network security principles Proactive approach to maintaining and optimizing endpoint validation Proven SME as a CISCO Network Engineer with a focus on Network Security Strong proficiency with NAC platforms In-depth knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP stack, and OSI model Experience with firewall management software such as Cisco FTD Experience with NAC platforms/management & Cisco ISE (preferred) Experience with Linux Operating Systems (OS) and Python scripting Cloud Service Provider and hybrid cloud experience (on-premise networks and cloud such as AWS, Azure, Oracle and Google) Industry certifications such as: CCNA Security, CCNP Security, REDHAT Certified Architect (RHCA) Required: Active TS/SCI w/ FSP Job Type: Full-time group id: 90942178
