The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical devices. This role requires expertise in PLC, mechanical engineering principles, and problem-solving skills.Your ResponsibilitiesDuties:- Design and develop mechanical systems using CAD software like SolidWorks- Conduct root cause analysis on mechanical failures and implement corrective actions- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success- Create schematics and blueprints for mechanical components- Utilize knowledge of logic controllers to optimize system performance- Fabricate and assemble prototypes for testing purposes- Draft technical reports and documentation for engineering projectsWho we are looking forRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field- Proficiency in PLC- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of mechanical design principles- Experience with root cause analysis techniques- Ability to fabricate and assemble mechanical components- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environmentYour preferred qualificationsRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field- Proficiency in PLC- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of mechanical design principles- Experience with root cause analysis techniques- Ability to fabricate and assemble mechanical components- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environmentWhat we offerAt Magna, you can expect an engaging and dynamic environment where you can help to develop industry-leading automotive technologies.
