Facility Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing:

The ideal candidate will be a RN with a current MA license, with at least 2 years of prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

The qualified candidate will show some of the following abilities:

Lead the nursing staff in delivering excellent care to patients and offering quality support

to the medical staff

Ensure that each nurse on staff is properly certified and abides by the standards for

care established by our organization and state and federal laws

Create new policies and update existing policies to help improve the level of care for

each patient

Implement quality improvement programs designed to help us deliver the highest

possible levels of service

Ensure that all patient care plans have the documentation necessary to provide the

proper type of care

Knowledge of and prior experience with annual DPH surveys with excellent results

Facilitates building of positive culture and morale among the nursing department and

facility as a whole.

The salary and benefits of this position are excellent, commensurate with experience, and size of the facility.

Salary: $60.00- 70.00/hour
