Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking Hospitalist Nurse Practitioners for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Jan 2, 2026. This role involves flexible 12-hour shifts, with both day and night coverage as needed by the hospital. Providers will support inpatient medicine admissions and manage a wide range of medical issues. Job Details Location: New York Start Date: Jan 2, 2026 LOA: 10 days Provider Type Needed: Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner Schedule: Two providers for 7am-7pm shifts and one provider for 7pm-7am shifts; providers must be flexible as scheduling will depend on coverage gaps Responsibilities and Duties Admit and manage inpatient medicine cases Address all medical issues presenting during assigned shifts Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care Maintain accurate and timely patient records Adapt to changing shift assignments and departmental needs Additional Information Active New York license required Board certification in Emergency Medicine required Flexibility in shift assignment is non-negotiable Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
