ROLE OVERVIEW

As the eCommerce Merchandise Manager, reporting to the Vice President, Sales Activation & D2C, you will be responsible for the Merchandising strategy for M&D.com. Partnering with the Senior D2C Business Analyst as well as the D2C lead on the Digital Marketing team, you will help define and deploy a best-in-class user experience, while seeking to better understand our consumer and ensure their needs are met and exceeded through our eCommerce platform sales.

Responsibilities:

* Establish the product and merchandising strategy with the objective of driving high-margin revenue to hit budget and overall company goals

* Partner with the Senior Analyst to build the promotional strategy to achieve key performance metrics; optimize assortments, arrays, and product representation on the site to guarantee best return on promotional goals

* Work cross-functionally with site teams to manage the sites calendar of activity and promotion, plus any updates relating to merchandising to ensure optimal products are being featured

* Lead ongoing planning to forecast sales, stock position, and product trends; own the overall account budget and waterfall to achieve revenue goals; monitor, track and report on new product launches and overall initiatives on the M&D.com business

* Oversee the flawless execution of new items added to the site, including new item set up, in stock position, and driving merchandising and marketing efforts to increase adoption of new products

* Work closely with Creative and Digital Marketing partners to achieve KPIs in revenue, conversion, engagement, and site functionality; drive site personalization efforts to create an engaging and relevant user experience

* Leverage data-driven insights to make strategic product and content decisions alongside Marketings DTC lead

* Drive analysis including category performance, activation results, and competitive analyses to better execute our brand strategy

Qualifications:

* BS/BA or University degree in Business or similar field, MBA a plus

* Minimum of 5-7 years experience working in a fast-moving Toy, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), or Apparel company

* Toy experience, and/or DTC experience in Merchandising, Buying or E-Commerce, preferred

* 3+ years of eCommerce experience with proven track record of driving accelerated digital revenue growth

* Expertise in transforming strategy and vision into actionable plans

* Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously under tight time constraints and within budget parameters

* Advanced Excel/analytical and PowerPoint presentation skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation and negotiation skills

* Strong strategic & financial capabilities and comfort with tactical execution

* Superior attention to detail, time management and follow through
