Zebra Recovery is seeking a highly motivated and organized Staffing Manager to join our growing team. In this dynamic role, you will play a pivotal role in all aspects of staffing, from recruitment and onboarding to payroll and compliance.
During Blue Skies, this job is a routine/scheduled position, but it will require a significant amount of flexibility and the ability to work long hours on short notice when a client requirement dictates or the company deploys in response to a Storm or other disaster.
Responsibilities:
Staffing:
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members for both Blue Sky and Storm departments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with network partners and personnel.
- Assist with development and oversee company staffing software.
- Manage and update staffing processes across all platforms.
Contracts & Administration:
- Coordinate and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure vendor insurance is current and compliant.
- Maintain and update rosters for both Blue Sky and Storm departments.
- Create/validate invoices as appropriate.
- Develop and update department procedures.
- Oversee timesheet audits and furnish reports as needed.
Communication & Training:
- Develop and maintain clear communication channels with staff and contractors across all departments.
- Manage network and social communication as needed.
Emergency Preparedness:
- Continually refine and implement emergency personnel and procurement procedures.
Team & Network Development
- Assist with the coordination and oversight of team and network functions and special events.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in staffing or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting, onboarding, and training employees.
- Strong understanding of employment law and compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Google Suite and familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with personnel management software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
