Responsibilities:

A&AS Junior SharePoint Admin/Knowledge Management (KM) Analyst

This position is a temporary position, expected for 6 to 9 months. This position will function as an Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) Knowledge Management (KM) Analyst for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR), Program Integration Department (CT-PI). CTR supports U.S. national security by preventing the acquisition, proliferation, and use of WMD, related materials, technologies, and expertise. The cooperative nature of CT's efforts contributes to stability, cooperation, and expanding U.S. influence in partner states and their regions. PIs Department provides support to the entire CT directorate and offices in 22 countries in the following areas: manpower/ human capital, training, travel, knowledge and records management, acquisition, onboarding, export control, records management, cost support controls, and property/ facilities.

The Junior SharePoint Admin is responsible for the success of implementation and support to the KM framework developed by the team. This role drives continuous improvement of the framework in collaboration with key stakeholders and the KM team members. The KM Analyst is responsible for implementing appropriate systems, policies, and processes to transform the use of information, and improve the departments expertise understanding. The KM Analyst promotes sharing and enable content uptake and organizational learning strategy development utilizing the organizations operational business processes, people, and systems.

DUTIES

  • Support the management of 5 SharePoint Site collections
  • Gather requirements and provide solutions on site design, navigation, and collaboration workspaces to customers.
  • Monitors, removes, and archives outdated content while proactively updating as needed.
  • Respond to change requests from the team in a timely manner and clarify any requests that need resolution.
  • Promote the use of knowledge management tooling and processes to facilitate sharing of knowledge using the available tools at his/her discretion.
  • Support the development and implementation of training on KM processes and tooling.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or masters degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or other related disciplines. If no Bachelors degree, 6 years of experience in the IT field.
  • Understanding of the development and implementation of SharePoint sites, pages, lists and libraries in SharePoint 2016.
  • Understanding of the administration of unique SharePoint permissions and creating custom permission groups.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Superior customer service attitude.
  • DoD SECRET clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with creating and maintaining custom permission groups.
  • Experience with creating webparts, lists, and libraries in SharePoint 2016.
  • Strong analytical abilities and experience bringing innovative and outside the box approaches to problem-solving.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment, and you have the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Attentive to detail and very organized. Youre known for your high-quality work.
  • Self-motivated and works autonomously while appreciating guided coaching and collaborative teaming.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis total compensation package for employees.

Posted Salary Range:
USD $50,900.00 - USD $79,550.00 /Yr.
