Luminator is seeking to fill our full-time Manufacturing Test Engineer role to join our growing and dynamic NPI and Manufacture Engineering team where you will be an integral part of the team by providing valuable input as we work toward assessing and implementing goals and mission of the department and Luminator. This is an opportunity to be part of something new and exciting within Manufacture Engineering.

Summary:

The Manufacturing Test Engineer is responsible for establishing production test procedures, coordinating testing of products under development and sustaining, as well as problem-solving daily production issues with the team as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Quality, Process, and Equipment Engineers in detecting, solving, and test yielding in performance measurements
  • Work closely with all departments to comprehend the innovative production goals
  • Build test modules and define testing parameters based on product designs
  • Draft proposals for testing programs and operating procedures
  • Outline specifications in testing conditions applicable to production
  • Support development of test equipment integrations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats
  • Ability to perform suing exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel at a rate of 10% internationally
  • Skilled in organizational and analytical thought process
  • Skilled in problem-solving innovative complexities
  • Strong time management skills to make project deadlines
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite or related software in test proposals
  • Knowledge of agile-manufacturing industry
Education/Experience:
  • BS in electrical, software, or computer science engineering required
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in electrical engineering required
  • MS in electrical, software, or computer engineering preferred
  • C++ certification preferred
