As a Civil Engineer at Flynn Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in the design and execution of land development projects across South Florida. Your expertise will contribute to shaping the future development of our communities.

Responsibilities: Design: -

Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed plans for land development projects. These may include roads, drainage systems, utilities, and other essential infrastructure. -

Collaborate with architects, landscape architects, and land use attorneys to integrate design elements seamlessly. Permitting and Compliance: -

Navigate the regulatory landscape by preparing and submitting permit applications to local agencies. -

Ensure compliance with zoning regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety standards. Site Visits and Supervision: -

Conduct regular visits to construction sites to oversee project progress. -

Verify that construction aligns with approved plans and specifications. Project Management: -

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to schedules and client deadlines. -

Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, municipalities, and contractors. -

Communication and Documentation: -

Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their concerns and providing updates. -

Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.

Qualifications: Education:

A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required. Experience: -

Minimum 2 year of experience using AutoCAD for drafting and design. -

Familiarity with land development processes and regulations. Certification:

Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred Compensation and Benefits: Salary dependent on qualifications Benefits: -
