Custom Business Solutions, a Michigan-based talent agency, is seeking an experienced Scrum Master for a hybrid workplace opportunity in Chicago, IL. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILL SET:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role for software development teams
  • CSM or equivalent Agile certification, with deep knowledge of traditional project management methodologies, Agile principles, Scrum frameworks, and SDLC
  • Excel & PowerPoint proficient
  • Strong proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile tools
  • Experience with Waterfall to Agile transformation

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and dev teams to manage backlog, manage project resources, budget, timelines
  • Foster an environment of team success, remove impediments, manage dependencies, and work in close partnership with business stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Agile practices, tools, and project management processes
