Strictly follows all practice policies and procedures, including all HIPAA related policies and procedures./ph3Essential Functions/h3pReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions./ph3Clinic Duties/h3ulliPerforms selected patient care duties, which include but are not limited to collection and management of patient clinical information, including chief complaint./liliRooms patients after paperwork is complete. The PCC documents chief complaint in patients chart and keeps patient flow moving smoothly and efficiently./liliPrior to alerting physician that patient is ready to be seen:/liliDouble checks chart to make sure that last dictation, etc. has been included. Read through last dictation discussion to see if an x-ray is needed, lab results available, or any other expectations of the physician./liliCheck patient questionnaire for diagnostic studies. Get all reports, even on films not in our office./liliPull and hang patients films and paperclip copy of x-ray report on film jacket./liliPrepares exam rooms with necessary equipment and supplies./liliOrders and maintains clinical and office supplies as required./liliAdvise patients of test results./liliProcesses labs that have been collected in office./liliGive injections as ordered by physicians./li/ulh3Non-Clinic Duties/h3ulliCalls all patients to remind them of upcoming appointment and the need for them to bring their imaging studies./liliWeigh and stamp outgoing mail./liliAssist PCCs when requested in prescription refills, form completion, etc./liliReschedule patient appointments as necessary./liliPerform related tasks/assignments as necessary./liliAssists in Medical Records with scanning and filing./liliComplies with established organizational policies and procedures of WTMF./liliPerforms related tasks/assignments as necessary./li/ulh3Other Duties/h3pPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
