Job Summary:

The Quality Director is responsible for leading and managing the development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of quality systems and processes throughout our organization. The ideal candidate ensures that the company meets quality standards and customer expectations. This position is also responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes are meeting standards by following correct standard procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement quality policies, procedures, and objectives to ensure goals are achieved.

· Lead and manage the entire Quality Control team across multiple locations.

· Utilize statistical analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in processes.

· Analyze and report on quality metrics, trends, and performance.

· Develop and implement metric dashboards to evaluate customer complaints and develop corrective action plans to ensure better customer service.

· Monitor supplier performance and evaluate supplier auditing processes

· Serve as a liaison between the organization and external parties.

· Develop and implement quality training programs.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

· 5+ years of experience managing Quality Control.

· Quality experience in a wood manufacturing environment preferred

· Proven track record of successful process improvement initiatives

· Knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong organizational and communication skills

· Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

· Degree in Quality Management, Engineering or related field preferred
