About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to provide finance leadership and work closely with senior management as part of the Texas Region Finance Leadership Team. The role involves overseeing financial systems and procedures, including month-end closings, and preparing finance teams for rapid growth. The VP of Finance will also be responsible for strategic financial leadership, evaluation of capital expenditures, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with state tax laws. Additionally, the role includes managing the accounting team, preparing operating budgets, and maintaining effective corporate and operational systems. The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in accounting, finance, or business, with at least 5 years of relevant financial management experience. A CPA and/or MBA is preferred but not required. Strong financial analysis capabilities, strategic leadership, and excellent problem-solving skills are essential.Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should possess strong values of ethics, integrity, and trust, and have the ability to develop relationships at all levels of the organization. The role requires the ability to lead effective teams, foster career development, and ensure the motivation and performance management of department employees. Candidates must have the ability to translate business objectives into actionable initiatives, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deal with ambiguity and facilitate change. Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office programs and financial software, is necessary. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a safety-first mindset, work in a team environment, and have the willingness to assist co-workers as required.
