Principal Responsibilities:Position Title: HousekeepingSalary Range: $16.00 per hourReports to: Facilities DirectorThe Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island is seeking extraordinary individuals to join our Maintenance/Housekeeping team. This is part-time, 20 hours, non-exempt position. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 6pm-10pm.Minimum Qualifications:Primary Responsibilities:Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuumingClean windows and mirrorsClean and supply restroomsRemove waste and empty trashMaintain cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleaned and inspectedReplenish cleaning and maintenance suppliesOrganize janitorial storage areasNotify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenanceCarry out cleansing tasks and special projectsFollow all health and safety regulationsQualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredAbility to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policiesMust be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operationsAttention to detailAbility to follow schedules and keep commitmentsMust be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a teamSalary:Under $25,000Agency Information:TheJewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island is proud to be an equal opportunityemployer.
