Foxconn is seeking for a Quality Engineer that performs reviews of all PCBA, Mechanical and System Level factory yield and failure analysis data provided by the Manufacturing Quality engineers and Failure analysis technicians. This position identifies trend items and drives root cause and corrective actions on those Items. Work involves communicating with both internal and external customers and suppliers. This position will drive the sub-tier quality initiative.Current open positions are available on the following shifts: 1st Shift: 8am-5:00pm2nd Shift: 3:30pm-12:00amJob Responsibilities Include:Responsible for the Weekly Quality summary report/s for both the internal team and external customer.Monitor defect trends and engage both our sub-tier vendors and the factory when those trends impact quality goals.Responsible to drive both the sub-tier vendors and factory for root cause and corrective action on all trend items.Responsible for the report on sub-tier and factory failure analysis reports to both the internal quality team and the external customer.Other duties as needed.Education Requirements and Ideal Experience Includes:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.3-5 years' experience in manufacturing, engineering, and quality processes.Knowledge of Electronic Theory and PC system architecture.Excellent skills at analyzing factory quality and failure trends to determine process, component, or design flaws.Knowledge of electronic component functions within digital and analog circuits.Good understanding of SMT/PIH manufacturing, Test Process's, and RMA Repair Process.Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all Business levels.Experience in Silicon Manufacturing and Testing is a plus.Knowledge of Mechanical Manufacturing is a plus.Skilled with MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Excellent in problem solving, leadership and teamwork ability.Ability to speak any of the following languages is a plus (Mandarin, Spanish or Vietnamese)Reasons you should work at Foxconn Wisconsin & FII USA, Inc:Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.Basic life insurance and short-term disability coverage provided by employer.Supplemental life insurance and long-term disability coverage options available.401K with employer contribution.Personal, Vacation, and Holiday paid time off for all full-time employees.Employees are continuously encouraged to learn and grow their careers in smart manufacturing.About Foxconn Wisconsin & Fii USA, Inc:Foxconn provides innovative design and Smart Manufacturing capabilities through Artificial Intelligence driven solutions.
