Muskego Health and Rehab is hiring for a passionate Dietary Cook to join our Food Services team in Muskego, WI. As a Dietary Cook, you will assist the kitchen staff in meal preparation, serving the nutritional meal to our residents, while following the residents' food restrictions according to their care plan.This position is Full-Time with rotating weekends.Duties and Responsibilities: The Dietary Cook is primarily responsible for preparing and serving meals according to cycles menu, monitoring methods of food handling, preparing meal service, and performing assigned work and cleaning routines for the dietary department.Portioning and serving of food itemsDelivering of trays and carts to resident floorsCleaning of dining roomsWorking on the tray lineWorking in the dish room and pot sinkSweeping and moppingDisposal of trash and recyclablesPer Diem Duties as outlined by Director of DietaryQualifications:Prior kitchen experience as chef/cookLeadership capabilitiesStrong communication skillsPassion to work with diverse aging populationPrevious long-term care experience is strongly preferred1+ years of customer service experienceWhy Muskego Health & Rehabilitation?Become a part of a Team that enthusiastically supports, recognizes and rewards our team of caring professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for those entrusted to our care.
