This position involves analyzing production outputs, controlling overhead expenses, inventory control and management, reviewing capital expenditures and being a business partner to all functions within the Repair business. The right individual for this role is someone who has some experience leading manufacturing finance or standard costing, is a self-starter, energetic, and willing to take on challenges with a positive attitude.Job DutiesAnalyze and investigate complex information reported in the internal financial statements and other periodic financial reports for a multiple repair location providing insightAnalyze financial results and trends over time reporting on findings a recommendations to leadershipReview expenses and operating statements including COGS (Cost of Goods Sold), WIP (work in process) and overhead costs ensuring compliance with US GAAPReview KPI (Key Performance Indicator) metrics on a monthly basis and partner with Plant Managers on areas for improvementResearch and recommend options and solutions for improved business results to senior managementCollaborate with Plant Managers and front-line supervisors to drive improved profitabilityConduct monthly financial business reviews with senior leadership in accounting and repair operationsReview inventory processes, cost of materials, capex spend, and operating costsDaily operations accounting including general ledger, A/R, A/P, inventory management and capital spendingAssist the Repair Accounting team in managing month-end close process - including journal entry review and posting, account reconciliations and variance analysis to deliver complete, accurate and timely financial reportingImplement and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of efficiency while maintaining appropriate internal controls and compliance with GAAPPrepare plant level monthly weekly cash flow forecast, monthly/quarterly financial forecastsPrepare plant level annual capital budget and operating budgetsProvide supporting documentation for year-end financial auditProvide accounting support for corporate and operations functionsDrive process improvement and efficiency in all accounting and close functions including ERP enhancementsPerform other assignments as required such as pricing analysis, payback modeling, wage scale increases and others.Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and ERP financial systems (SAP experience a plus)Detail-oriented, high level of accuracy, ability to work with confidential information, and excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational skills , ability to multi-task, and handle multiple projects at a timeProblem-solving, process improvement, and prioritization skillsExperience8+ years experience in accounting and finanaceRelevant experience in manufacture or cost accountingEducationBachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting Relevant Work ExperienceCPA preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
