Founded in 2007, JL Construction Corp is a heavy civil excavation contracting firm located in West Springfield MA who specializes in excavation, infrastructure, streetscape, site and park development utilizing state of the art technology and equipment. Full service commercial snow removal is also provided during the winter months. As a small company, we are able to offer personal attention to customers.
DAy to Day as A Construction Truck Driver/Laborer

As a Full-Time Construction Truck Driver/Laborer at JL Construction Corp, you will be responsible for transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites using our reliable company vehicles including triaxle dump trucks. Your role will also involve performing a range of manual labor tasks on-site, ensuring that projects progress smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, if you are qualified, you will have the opportunity to operate heavy construction equipment, adding variety and excitement to your daily responsibilities. What you need to be successful

To succeed as a Full-Time Construction Truck Driver/Laborer at JL Construction Corp, candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and an OSHA 10 Certification. A Class A License is essential, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience driving Class A vehicles, preferably triaxles, while meeting FMCSA regulations. Additionally, at least 1 year of relevant experience in excavation or horizontal construction is required. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to perform physical labor and manage strenuous tasks in all weather conditions. Punctuality, reliability, and an excellent work ethic are crucial, as is a willingness to travel locally to various job sites.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • High School Diploma or GED
