**Description**

The HGN, downtown YMCA is looking for a female custodian to help maintain the cleanliness of the womens and girls locker rooms as well as the womens restrooms and other areas of the YMCA to ensure the best possible member experience for our members, guests, and program participants.

**Requirements**

* Working knowledge of vacuums, and various cleaning supplies and equipment

* Working knowledge about how to assure safety while working with cleaning equipment and cleaning supplies and materials

* Working knowledge of commercial laundry equipment

* Ability to follow directions and receive constructive criticism

* Ability and willingness to learn new information and methods to improve job skills and performance

* Able to maintain a harmonious, positive working relationship with fellow employees, YMCA members, program participants, and guests

* Enjoys working and interacting with all types and ages of people, utilizing the important core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

* Must be dependable and possess a strong work ethic

* Must be at least 18 years of age
