General Summary : Using Quality Caring Model, demonstrates acceptable performance, and applies nursing process, to plan and manage care of routine patients, including patient and family education, and continuum of care planning. Professional specialty certifications may be required, in accordance with departmental standards or role requirements: High Risk Perinatal Center - Inpatient OB certification for exam-eligible RNs. For RNs working in Labor & Delivery, High Risk Perinatal Center, and Float Pool E - NCC EFM certification (for novice RNs and experienced RNs newly hired, certification must be obtained within twelve months of hire). Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Current knowledge of nursing skills and practice. Computer and audiovisual skills, using various applications, such as internet, e-mail and word processing. Ability to retrieve and interpret data. Effectively read, speak, write, compose, and comprehend English. Effective eye and hand coordination. Ability to analyze and synthesize information within short period of time. Effective problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize. Ability to work well with individuals and groups. Pay Range: $37.88-$54.19 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
