We are looking for an innovative and experienced leader to join the team in this care system build. If you are a strong leader with behavioral health experience, this is a great opportunity to be part of a new department and service line.Position Summary: The Nurse Manager works in partnership with leaders in planning, directing, organizing, monitoring and staffing the department subject to policies, budgets, objectives and directives mandated by regulatory agencies, DNV and the hospital administrative team. This position develops and implements patient care policies that are based on evidence and/or best practice standards and comply with regulatory requirements. As new nursing knowledge and innovations in practice advance, leads their application into practice and ensures standardized implementation across the department by working closely and in collaboration with other department nurse leaders and educators.Minimum Qualifications:+ Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing+ Current Montana RN Licensure+ American Heart Association BLS+ American Heart Association ACLS+ American Heart Association PALS required within one year+ Current patient care experience in the hospital setting+ Preferred: Master’s in Nursing or a health care related field+ Preferred: Certification in Nursing Leadership (AONE or ANCC)+ Preferred: Leadership experience in hospital nursingEssential Job Functions:+ Directs broad operations of assigned department to ensure the provision of comprehensive services in compliance with all regulatory agencies and hospital requirements.+ Ensures a collaborative departmental approach to operational planning, care/service design and development of organizational policies, which reflect the mission of the organization.+ Coordinates and assists with oversight of departmental services.
