Position Summary

Performs tasks for assigned area, following established policies and procedures

Daily Tasks

  • Assist the EVS Manager and Supervisor of Events and Setups with all daily events and setup requests provided by Culinary, Public Relations, Development, HR, Education, or any other LMHS Department.
  • Setup onsite conference rooms and events - moving tables and chairs to meet the work order needs.
  • Cleaning of all onsite conference rooms - wiping down tables, taking trash out, changing tablecloths.
  • Responding to daily emails and calls.
  • Remain organized - making sure work orders are completed in a timely manner.
  • Communicate to multiple departments (Culinary, PR, Development, HR) with any concerns or questions prior to an event.
  • Assist with offsite events, delivery, setup, and tear down.
  • Assist with office moves, document purges, or any other task as assigned.


Weekly Task
  • Help with putting supplies away.
  • On Thursday, look at upcoming events for the following week to make sure there are no issues with overlapping set-ups.
  • Ensure weekend events are covered with plans for set up and tear down.
  • Assist with delivering items from one site to another.
  • All projects and tasks should be completed according to priority and in an organized manner.
Additional Projects and Tasks May Include:
  • Assist with shreds
  • Assist with floors / auto scrubber
  • Assist to strip/wax floors
  • Assist with storage and purging of documents
  • Assist with other EVS tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • HSD or GED strongly preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Work requires physical stamina.
  • Work requires attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain cleaning equipment.
