JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for administering, directing, and coordinating the Nutrition Service Department and operations. Sustaining the highest quality food service and nutritional care for customers consisting of patients, guests, and staff with primary goal to consistently create an exceptional dining experience. Maintain an acute focus on balancing culinary integrity, hospitality, retail, and financial results, while safeguarding each customer experience with the highest level of personalized service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Current designation as Certified Dietary Manager required.
Current registration and license to practice in the State of Oklahoma as a Dietitian preferred.
Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge in computer operations
Able to work under stressful conditions.
Having and maintaining a valid Oklahoma Drivers License and satisfactory driving record is a condition of employment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to work in a latex-burdened environment.
Able to speak clearly and distinctly with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
Able to extensively utilize telephone for communication with customers, vendors, and all hospital departments.
Able to sit/stand/walk for extended periods of time throughout the work schedule, with some lifting and bending.
Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare documents and to read product labels and literature.
Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
