Responsibilities

  • Perform electro-mechanical assembly tasks following OMS and written instructions.
  • Construct electro-mechanical, vacuum, and/or pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
  • Utilize test fixtures or non-diagnostic electronic testing devices to perform "go-no go" tests, adjusting and aligning as necessary.
  • Maintain a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment.
  • Attend health and safety training sessions as required; follow safety and security policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Promptly report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisors or the Safety department.
  • Follow operating instructions and use protective equipment when necessary; handle equipment and materials properly to prevent accidents.
  • Utilize standard hand tools and fixtures for precise assembly and positioning of parts.
  • Connect components or assemblies into housings, panels, or chassis; mount and adjust switches, springs, clamps, shafts, terminals, wiring harness ends, gears, tubing, etc.
  • Cut wire to specified sizes, strip, tin, or bind wire parts, and connect component lead wires and wiring harness ends to designated terminal points.
  • Identify defective parts and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and stock to prevent loss or injury.
  • Detail finished work by removing fingerprints and properly package products to prevent damage during transportation or storage.


The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes working in a non-temperature controlled environment standing for 8 hours at one time working weekends
