Job Summary and QualificationsJob Summary: Responsible for providing high quality pre-hospital and interfacility advanced life support including assessment, triage, and treatment utilizing standards and guidelines established by HCA Healthcare North Carolina MAMA Medical Director(s). The Critical Care Paramedic will be responsible for carrying out the mission of HCA Healthcare North Carolina MAMA and goals of assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum.
- Required Licenses: Paramedic Certificate from an accredited college or Associates of Science in EMS. Maintains current licensure and certification as a Paramedic in N.C. Office of Emergency Medical Services and will obtain. Maintain BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and advance provider ITLS or PHTLS.
- Required Experience: 2 Minimum 2 years full time critical care experience at the Critical Care Paramedic level at a demanding 911 or interfacility transport service.
- Preferred Licenses: Maintain CCEMT-P, CCP-C or FP-C preferred
- Preferred Experience: Minimum 3-5 years full time critical care experience at the Critical Care Paramedic level at demanding 911 or interfacility transport service.
