Position Description:

Epic Special Education Staffing is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for a contract School Speech Language Pathologist SLP or SLPA for the 2023-2024 school year.

  • Location: Mt. Prospect, IL
  • Duration: March 15, 2024 - May 31, 2024
  • Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
  • Full or Part Time: Full Time
  • Schedule: 32.5 hours/week; Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 3:30PM
  • Grade/Age Levels: Kinder to 8th-grade
  • Caseload Description: 30 therapeutic day school providing educational life skills program supporting students with moderate to significant needs across multiple domains (ie. cognitive, social-emotional, communication, physical).

    • Hourly pay is based on national averages and will vary based on location, experience, qualifications and local or travel positions.

Qualifications:

The minimum qualifications for a Speech Pathologist SLP or SLPA:
  • 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as an SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) or SLPA within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
  • Valid SLP or SLPA license or in process in the state of practice
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
