. SUMMARY: This position is responsible for picking up and delivering product to and from all schools within the district in a safe and neat manner ensuring that product is maintained properly. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:•Maintain a clean and valid driver's license.•Drive the vehicle into position for loading and unloading.•Loading and unloading product in a safe and neat manner to make sure goods are correctly stowed. •Communicate with office.•Deliver and unload goods at required site.•Obtain a receipt for goods delivered.•Vehicle check must be done daily. Vehicle report must be completed weekly. •Hand in all gas receipts/cards upon getting gas.•Must maintain an odometer log daily.•Responsible for daily cleaning of vehicle.•No other passengers allowed in vehicle unless authorized by manager.•Must adhere to all motor vehicle laws and regulations.ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•Must adhere to all school district policies which include but are not limited to: time of delivery, parking, designated delivery areas and designated driving areas.•Whitsons is not responsible for any traffic violations while you are driving the company vehicle and are on company time. If you receive a traffic violation, you will be responsible for the ticketREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:Education:•High School requiredCertifications:•Clean unblemished driver license required•ServsafeOther Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:•Speak, read and write in English required•1 year driving in professional role requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a TeamMember to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
