Pharmacist - Inpatient

Job Specifics and Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in the Shreveport, LA area.
  • Must have a valid, clear and active Louisiana Pharmacist license
  • Must have a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
  • 2+ years of Pharmacist experience in a clinical/inpatient setting
  • Background and Drug Screening
  • Health Screening required

Relocation package and Sign on bonus may be available depending on the location you are moving from

Pharmacist - Inpatient

Responsibilities:
- Review patient medical records and medication histories
- Identify drug interactions and potential adverse reactions
- Make dosing and treatment recommendations to physicians
- Educate patients and caregivers about medications
- Monitor patients' progress and response to drug therapies
