Our client in Longmont, CO is seeking a SMT Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, focused, and willing to learn which will align successfully in the organization. **JOB TITLE:** SMT Operator **JOBTYPE:** Fulltime **SALARY:** $18-$22 Per hour depending on experience. **MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Candidate must have experience running and programming SMT Machines-MyData preferred. + Able to perform visual inspections of SMT assemblies. + Interpret Assembly & Fabrication Prints for Surface Mount Department + SMT Process Tech-Oversee all processes and responsible for analyzing data and reducing scrap levels. + AOI experience would be a plus. + Providing Engineering support for the SMT Prototype and Production Lines. + Creating Common Setups for the SMT jobs to reduce number of setups and teardowns. **SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:** **Education/Experience:** + 2-5 years of experience as an SMT Operator. + Good SMT Operator with 2-3 years of experience in production environment. + Pick & place machines preferred (MyData experience a plus). + Programming SMT machines a plus. + Working knowledge of assembling electronic products with good dexterity and able to follow work instructions + Ability to lift 30-40ILBS.
