We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Clerk to join our client's finance team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Duties of the Accounting Clerk

  • Maintain and update accurate financial records for the manufacturing operations.
  • Record all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the accounting system.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
  • Manage customer invoices and follow up on overdue accounts receivable
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds for operational needs.
  • Prepare regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide financial summaries and analysis to management, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations in the manufacturing industry.

Requirements of the Accounting Clerk

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices specific to the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
