To excel as a Full Time GEOINT Standards Developer - Senior Level, you must possess a diverse skill set tailored for success in the Information Technology industry. From having an active TS/SCI Clearance to being well-versed in NGA standards, your expertise in standards development and execution is crucial. As an experienced technical writer, you'll effectively communicate complex concepts. Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases and MS-Excel is essential, as is a solid grounding in GEOINT metadata and domain experience.
Your ability to work with dimensionally modeled data and develop ontologies will set you apart. Familiarity with software language such as GitLab or GitHub, along with knowledge of HTTP REST APIs, XML, and JSON, will equip you for success in guiding conceptual models at various levels. Required Knowledge and skills:
Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance
Be familiar with NGA and have expertise in Standards development and execution. Experienced technical writer.
Experience working with dimensionally modeled data.
Develop Ontologies and guide conceptual and logical models at the enterprise, segment and solution levels spanning multiple special domains.
Working knowledge of relational databases constructs.
Understanding of basic concepts of Unified Modeling Language (UML) Class Diagrams, object-based modeling concepts and logical data models.
Experience in the use of existing OGC standards and industry best practices related visualization features, spatiotemporal data, metadata catalogs and coordinate reference systems.
Working knowledge of the following software language GitLab or GitHub, HTTP REST API's, XML and JSON.
Working knowledge of a logical query expression such as SQL
XML or JSON filters.
Desired Knowledge and skills:
Experience with
Collibra, Informatica or related data governance tools
Dimensionally modeled data
Basic concepts of object-based modeling concepts and logical data models.
Experience t
ranslating/mapping relational data models into XML and Schema
Familiarity with:
Major varieties of JSON (JSON-LD, GeoJSON, JSON-B, etc.).
Simple Knowledge Organization System (SKOS).
Education/Certification Required:
Senior Level
- Master's degree, Bachelor's degree plus 4-year experience, Associates degree plus 6 years' experience, or a minimum of 8 years' experience, in relevant field
