Located in St. Joseph, Michigan, LECO continues to be a family-owned company that understands the value of shared interests, long-term stability, loyalty, and trust.Schedule:6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday FridayPosition Summary:The Industrial Engineer will use their technical and interpersonal skills to assist the Plant Manager in the areas of:Work Schedules and WorkflowProduction IssuesQuality Control and ImprovementCost ReductionPersonnel and Resource ManagementPosition Responsibilities:Review work schedules and workflow as required to achieve on-time delivery of productEffectively communicate production issues and resolve through designated channelsAnalyze quality issues and work to implement effective corrective actionWork to reduce operating costs through efficient use of resourcesAssist in the effective management of personnel and available resourcesPosition Requirements:The Industrial Engineer is required to be competent in the following areas: Communication, both written and verbalProblem solving by detecting, analyzing, and resolvingQuality management by identifying areas for improvement and then implementing a solutionProject planning as it relates to the effective use machinery and human resourcesManagement of personnel and resourcesCritical thinking as required to identify advantages and downsides of proposed solutionEducation/Certifications:Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
