DescriptionEMIT Technologies, a leading provider of emissions control and monitoring solutions, is seeking a skilled Welder to join our night shift team in Sheridan, Wyoming. As a Welder at EMIT, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects and use your welding skills to contribute to our mission of providing innovative solutions to environmental challenges.Responsibilities: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding process specifications Use welding equipment and tools to join or cut metal parts Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and shaping them Determine the appropriate welding techniques and methods based on the type of metal and project specifications Conduct inspections to ensure the quality of welded joints and make necessary repairs Follow safety procedures and regulations while performing welding tasks Maintain welding equipment and tools, and perform routine maintenance as needed Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget Continuously improve welding skills and techniques through training and practiceRequirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredWelding certification (Preferred) 3 plus years welding experience Must pass EMIT welding test
