PRIMARY DUTIES:- Receives, transports and warehouses materials and finished product.
- Stages incoming and outgoing materials and finished product.
- Responsible for accurate completion of all paperwork related to the shipments and inventories of related materials and products. Verify shift-end production quantities with Palletizer Op., and/or Production Supervisor.
- Plans, stages, calculates and loads orders to be shipped.
- Responsible for inspection of trailers that are being loaded and the loads which are being placed on trailers.
- Transports hoppers, bins, pallets, supplies, chemicals, etc..
- Completes daily maintenance checklist and maintains gas levels, water, safety restraints, etc..
- Maintains clean work area by sweeping, using a floor scrubber, mopping, etc..
- Operates forklift in other areas as assigned.
- Performs other duties relating to the overall effort, as directed.
- Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, 70 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to operate a forklift to Company standards.
- Must be able to perform simple mathematical equations related to inventory levels.
- Must be able to pass both written and hands-on job related safety tests.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Training period is 1-4 weeks.
