PRIMARY DUTIES:

  1. Receives, transports and warehouses materials and finished product.
  2. Stages incoming and outgoing materials and finished product.
  3. Responsible for accurate completion of all paperwork related to the shipments and inventories of related materials and products. Verify shift-end production quantities with Palletizer Op., and/or Production Supervisor.
  4. Plans, stages, calculates and loads orders to be shipped.
  5. Responsible for inspection of trailers that are being loaded and the loads which are being placed on trailers.
  6. Transports hoppers, bins, pallets, supplies, chemicals, etc..
  7. Completes daily maintenance checklist and maintains gas levels, water, safety restraints, etc..
OCCASIONAL DUTIES:
  1. Maintains clean work area by sweeping, using a floor scrubber, mopping, etc..
  2. Operates forklift in other areas as assigned.
  3. Performs other duties relating to the overall effort, as directed.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
  2. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, 70 lbs. occasionally.
  3. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to operate a forklift to Company standards.
  4. Must be able to perform simple mathematical equations related to inventory levels.
  5. Must be able to pass both written and hands-on job related safety tests.
  6. Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  7. Training period is 1-4 weeks.
