Job Description:

The Program Manager is responsible for directing the overall activities of assigned programs throughout their lifecycle as required to meet the contract's cost, schedule, and performance constraints in accordance with the latest Program Lifecycle Management (PLM) process.

Responsibilities:

* Supports marketing new business activities by providing the program management section of proposals.

* After contract award, coordinates and works with marketing to develop plans and set strategy for achieving follow-on business.

* Acts as the company representative and prime customer contact for all assigned programs.

* Identifies and secures program team members in agreement with Division and Functional Heads.

* Responsible for all facets of assigned programs, working within management's objectives, goals, and funding requirements.

* Incumbent produces and manages the Program Management Plan, ensuring all aspects of the program, including Technical, Commercial, and Supply Chain activities, are integrated into a Master Program Schedule.

* Maintains a risk management system where risks and issues are identified, prioritized, and mitigation plans and recovery strategies are defined and actioned.

* Allocates and controls funds and prepares reports to monitor actual versus budgeted costs.

* Progress on program status and performance is constantly monitored through review meetings, reports, and presentations to management and customers.

* Participates in the resolution of technical and commercial in-service issues, especially those related to Customer Interaction and relationships.

* Carries out special duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree

* 7+ years related experience

* Experience in project engineering, manufacturing and scheduling is desirable.

Skills and Knowledge:

* Ability to manage multiple activities and projects.

* Effective motivator and communicator.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong PC skills, including MS Project and SAP.

* Ability to travel.

Descripcin del trabajo:

El Gerente de Programa es responsable de dirigir las actividades generales de los programas asignados a lo largo de su ciclo de vida segn sea necesario para cumplir con las restricciones de costo, cronograma y desempeo del contrato de acuerdo con el ltimo proceso de Gestin del Ciclo de Vida del Programa (PLM).

Responsabilidades:

* Apoya la comercializacin de nuevas actividades comerciales proporcionando la seccin de gestin de programas de propuestas.

* Despus de la adjudicacin del contrato, coordina y trabaja con marketing para desarrollar planes y establecer estrategias para lograr negocios posteriores.

* Acta como representante de la empresa y contacto principal con el cliente para todos los programas asignados.

* Identifica y asegura a los miembros del equipo del programa de acuerdo con los jefes funcionales y de divisin.

* Responsable de todas las facetas de los programas asignados, trabajando dentro de los objetivos, metas y requisitos de financiamiento de la administracin.

* El titular produce y gestiona el Plan de gestin del programa, asegurando que todos los aspectos del programa, incluidas las actividades tcnicas, comerciales y de la cadena de suministro, estn integrados en un cronograma maestro del programa.

* Mantiene un sistema de gestin de riesgos donde se identifican, priorizan los riesgos y problemas y se definen y aplican planes de mitigacin y estrategias de recuperacin.

* Asigna y controla fondos y prepara informes para monitorear costos reales versus presupuestados.

* El progreso del estado y desempeo del programa se monitorea constantemente a travs de reuniones de revisin, informes y presentaciones a la gerencia y a los clientes.

* Participa en la resolucin de problemas tcnicos y comerciales en servicio, especialmente aquellos relacionados con la interaccin y relaciones con el cliente.

* Realiza tareas especiales asignadas

Educacin y experiencia:

* Licenciatura

* Ms de 7 aos de experiencia relacionada

* Es deseable tener experiencia en ingeniera de proyectos, fabricacin y programacin.

Habilidades y conocimientos:

* Capacidad para gestionar mltiples actividades y proyectos.

* Motivador y comunicador eficaz.

* Excelentes habilidades de comunicacin escrita y verbal.

* Fuertes habilidades de PC, incluidos MS Project y SAP.

* Posibilidad de viajar.
