Coordinates and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate appropriate and efficient patient placement. Makes administrative decisions (in consultation with administrator on call, as needed) in regards to potential or actual problematic situations involving the hospital. Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to resolve problems in an efficient and caring manner. Demonstrated leadership skills through effective work coordination, management of resources, and participation in goal accomplishment. ACLS required within 1 year of hire.Qualifications:N-4YR - RN-Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - North Carolina, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Registered Nurse License (RN) - Nursing License - Compact/Multi-State LicenseAcute Care, Nursing, Nursing LeadershipSkillsCommunication, Complex Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Service OrientationSentara Healthcare prides itself on the diversity and inclusiveness of its close to an almost 30,000-member workforce.
